Opening the Door to Miracles

Every time I talked to a friend of mine, she regaled me with stories about the miracles that were happening in her life.

Here are a few examples. Sweeping the kitchen floor one day she thought, "I need a new broom." Later that day, she opened the pantry and saw a new broom! She asked her husband, "Where did that broom come from?" He said that a someone had just given it to him. She hadn't said a word.

Another time, she looked in her pantry and made a mental shopping list of dog food, peanut butter... Later that day, her mother came for a visit and said, "I was cleaning out my pantry and found a few things I don't need. Would you like them?" Ani when to the car and saw dog food, peanut butter....

As I listened to her tell these stories day after day, I felt jealous and angry. Then something snapped. A door opened. The thought occurred to me, "I could receive miracles, too! I have received miracles before. What happened?"

I realized that my feelings of jealousy and anger were trying to get may attention to heal a place within me that felt unworthy.

I asked Hamied the Angel of Miracles for help. This is what he said:

Ask and you shall receive.

Stop. Breathe. Relax.

Stop rushing around and calm.

Sit in a comfortable position.

Breathe deep, gentle breaths.

Relax.

Stop trying to do or accomplish or figure out.

Step.

Breathe.

Relax.

After a few minutes, turn attention within.

What is the deepest desire of your soul?

Ask and open to receive the response to that desire.

In truth, you are connected to the flow of divine miracles and supply.

Breathe that in.

Feel the truth of it.

Ask for what you want and need.

Then open to receive an immediate response.

The secret is in knowing what to ask for!

And how to ask.

Your soul knows.

Listen to the deepest desires of your soul.

Ask and receive.

You are in the flow of miracles!

Give it a try! Follow the directions with your full heart and soul. See what happens.

Once I asked, I received! Miracles flowed and gushed and washed away the old patterns of unworthiness. We are truly connected!

Ongkanon, the angel of Communication has a message for you today:

He often acts as an intermediary, bringing remembrance of your spiritual destiny, and his desire is to assist in your quest for truth. Call on Ongkanon often to part the veil of illusion and connect you with your Eternal Self."

Ongkanon is one of my personal favorites. When I am having difficulty expressing what I really mean, I ask for help finding the accurate words. When I'm having a conflict with someone and we can't seem to hear each other, I ask for help communicating from the heart.

Ongkanon is a wonderful friend to have as we connect in truth and love.

The Blessing of Discouragement

Like many of you, I have to move out of my house. My husband and I have put an enormous amount of time and energy into finding a new home. Yesterday we looked at a place that I had invested all of my hopes in. It wasn't it. So I felt discouraged.

I could feel a part of myself making up a fantasy about what this place was like from the pictures. That part of myself latched onto my fantasy and made the decision, "I want to live here" before we saw it. I could feel this part of me didn't care about the facts or reality. It just wanted it to be easy.

When we looked at the house, there was nothing easy about it. In fact, it would be a challenge to live there in many ways. In addition, it was rather ratty inside. Yet this part of me was trying desperately to "imagine" how it could work.

Thankfully, my husband didn't have this same program running. He saw the place for what it was and helped me to snap out of it and come to my senses. The rest of the day, I experienced a deep discouragement.

Some people try to avoid that discouragement. Like Tinkerbell, they try to get us to focus on a "happy thought." Discouragement can be a powerful force for change when used well. I used the feeling of discouragement to energize my prayer and asked God to help me let go of misconceptions. Searching within, I found more trust. I dreamed that God came to me personally to comfort and guide me. This morning I woke up renewed and refocused.

Looking at other times in my life, this same program of making up my mind regardless of the facts was responsible for some of the worst and most costly decisions I've made.

The angel of gratitude is smiling on me. I am grateful for the awareness to make better choices. I am grateful for my loving husband. I am grateful that angels are guiding us always. I am grateful to be in the embrace of eternal love. I am grateful for the many resources and opportunities that are available.

Feeling Tired?

As energy flows in response to our prayers, our physical bodies react. Spiritual energy flows through our nervous systems. When more energy is present than we are used to, we can experience some different symptoms. Tiredness is one of those symptoms.

Tips for moving through tiredness with grace:

1. Get more sleep than you usually need. During sleep, our subconscious integrates experiences and energy. Our brain actually re-organizes our memories and thoughts, like doing a disc clean-up or defragmenting a hard drive. Also during sleep, our conscious mind is out of the way so our Being can have greater spiritual movement without our mind trying to "figure it out." The body can need extra sleep after a big infusion of energy to allow the cells to rebuild in a new configuration of health.

2. Move gently. Put on gentle, sensual music and allow your body to sway, move and flow with the music. Let the music dance your body, don't dance from your mind. Your body knows how to heal itself and open it's energy. Trust your body to move, heal, open and energize itself.

3. Walk. Get out in fresh air and sunshine if possible. Breathe deeply. Move gently. Be refreshed and renewed.

4. Rest! Lie down and rest. Be comfortable and warm. Hang out with a pet or a loved one. Children, dogs and cats are great teachers on how to nap.

5. Be creative. Creativity opens the flow of energy. Paint, craft, draw, knit, crochet, sew, sculpt, throw pottery, make jewelry, bead, make stained glass, build, design, what inspires you? Make a collage vision board for 2011! Open to receive the flow of creativity from your soul and Spirit.

6. Play dress up! Sometimes we feel tired because our soul is board with the way we live and it wants us to try something new and experiment. Change your hair. Try new makeup. I saw a picture of Johnny Depp with eye liner. Get a pedicure. Try this: While you are in the shower, close your eyes and feel your inner presence. Is it soft and flowy? Strong and angular? Sensual? Peaceful? Powerful? Joyful? How can your clothes, hair, make up and shoes demonstrate outwardly your inner feeling? Put clothes and shoes together in different combinations that you would normally wear. Be creative and inventive.

Surrendering to YES

As a society we have a low tolerance for discomfort and impatience when things move too slow according to our expectations and time lines. We want it and we want it now. We get upset and frustrated when things don’t go our way and then we brood and become disheartened - like kids. We give up, become resigned to things remaining the same, compare our losses to the successes of others, wonder what’s wrong with us, judge our deficiencies, beat ourselves up and end up feeling like a puddle on the floor.

So what does saying YES really mean to your life?

I believe it means having the faith and courage to step into the next and highest version of who you are meant to be a spiritual being and Creator in a physical body. And to keep expanding into your highest potential which may beyond your imagination to conceive. It means going the distance without giving up and quitting; releasing the false illusions about who you think you are to allow the real magnificent you to more fully emerge.

Fulfilling our dreams and desires does not end with a single yes to any vision, action plan, or goal. Thinking that just because we came to a decision to do or have something that our success is assured is naive. We must say yes every second, every minute, and every hour of every day as we make choices that move us towards what we truly desire. And, we must know when choosing to say no is the right answer because saying yes will take us in the opposite direction of what we desire.

Are you aware of what your soul is calling you to become?

Have you been listening the whispers of your spirit and following your inner nudges?
What YES have you been resisting that is persisting?

Are the choices you have been making moving you towards or away from your desires?

Questions that arise:

1. What will I be asked to do that I may not want to do?
Life (God, Soul, The Divine) will not give you step two until you take step one. Spiritual practices such as meditation, morning papers, journaling, and walks in natures create connections for Life to speak to us through intuition, instincts, feelings… It is true that the guidance we sense or hear might seem scary, confusing, …even nuts. Our ego and mind screams, “No way. It’s not safe. It’s crazy…” Our gut and instincts say, “Trust that all will be well. Go for it.” What is guiding your decisions? The fears and illusions of your mind? Or, the knowing wisdom from your soul looking beyond the limitations of your mind and beckoning you to the wonders of what’s next?

Attempting to remain stagnant is impossible because evolution and change is a constant. You are either moving forward or you are moving backward. Look at your life to see where you are.

2. How far do I need to s-t-r-e-t-c-h?
You want some guarantees or a preview of what is to come before decided to take the plunge? Sorry,. Life doesn’t work that way. That’s why it’s called taking a leap of faith. You must stretch as far as is needed to receive what you desire. There may be periods of extreme challenge that can cause you to waver in doubt and fear.

How well you know yourself, your spiritual practices, ongoing evolution, attitude shifting tools, and circle of support are critical factors to staying strong no matter what is happening.

3. What if my YES upsets others?
It might. And in weighing all the elements of saying yes, you must also trust that the people in your life will benefit in the long run even if the short term brings some discomfort. You do not know what the people in your life have come to experience to become who they are meant to be.

Marianne Williamson’s famous quote from “A Return To Love” speaks to the very heart of each of us who fear or feel undeserving of owning our greatness

“…Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of the Universe. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others…”

At a Crossroads of Destiny

Many of us are at a crossroad in our lives. Theresa expressed it best, “I’m at a crossroads to go back to the work I was doing or go in faith to start a new life and know that all will be provided. I feel if I go back to the old job, I will be swallowed up. My soul says to move on. How can I find the faith in this moment to walk away and know that I will be taken care of in every way?”

Working into my new life, I had to have tremendous faith and I sacrificed quite a lot. There was a time a few years ago when I did have to go back into a corporate job. That was very difficult and challenging for me. At the same time, it was a powerful learning experience. Everything that happens can become a fabulous growing and evolving process, but we do need to know when to move on.

Do you it’s time to make a big change but are hesitating? Theresa said, “I live more in touch with the Divine and have had a tremendous shift yet my family cannot understand that I see life from a different point of view. They go back to memories and I want to go forward. I want to serve the higher good. When and what do I need to know to move on?”

That’s the dilemma. We come to the place within us where it becomes clear that it is time to move on, but we still cling to the old job, the old marriage, the old life because the way forward has not fully revealed itself.

I had trouble letting go. I lingered in relationships and jobs way beyond the point when it became clear it was time to leave. It was only by staying too long that I learned to recognize the inner promptings to change. It was through unpleasant experiences that I learned how to trust and receive the guidance that was being given to me.

This may seem dark and scary, but to give you encouragement, as I learned to recognize the guidance and signs that were coming to me, as I learned to have the courage to say “yes” regardless of what it looked like, the most remarkable things have happened. We suffer when we cling to the past. When I had the courage to say yes to The Angel Ministry, all of sudden my life turned around in ways I never could have imagined. The more I have the courage to say yes to the guidance I receive, the more incredible, wonderful and loving my life becomes.

Are you at a crossroads? I encourage you to listen to that inner voice of guidance and your soul’s deepest calling. Trust and say “yes” with discernment and wisdom. That is an important key!

Finding Time to Fulfill Your Calling

Once we learn the major duties of our soul calling, how do we manifest it? Beverly asked, “Is the time and means to enter into our calling also given? My life is filled to the brim with responsibilities and family. Does it mean dropping all past obligations in order to have the time and the space for my newly discovered soul duties?”

What a great question. For some, it’s about finding ways to incorporate a new calling into what you are already doing. It could be enough to change perspective or have a change of attitude bringing more love and care into what you are already doing. Others will need to walk away from what they doing and drop past obligations to make space for the new calling.

I’ll give an example from my own life that illustrates this. I was called to co-create an angel ministry for several years. I couldn’t see how to make it work because I was struggling financially. This has been one of the recurring themes in my life. Designing The Angel Ministry and bringing it to life is a big deal. It is a huge seven month program that involves creating a curriculum, arranging for university credit and church ordination, scheduling guest speakers, finding the students, and setting up the internet systems for a global class. The launch was huge.

For several years, I could not see how I could make it happen. But I trusted. I prayed. My friends said, “You have to trust and do this!” Then the pieces miraculously started coming together. Judith Larkin Reno refreshed my memory that Gateway University was available to award the university transcript credit and legally ordain the ministers so they could officiate at weddings, perform sacraments, bless, heal and counsel.

I couldn’t get over the next hurtle because most of my focus was still on how to make enough money to pay rent and buy groceries. Finally, I had to ask for financial help. I let go, stop struggling, took time off to focus exclusively on the curriculum and program. Beautifully, wonderfully, magically, The Angel Ministry came together in ways that blew my mind and continue to astonish me.

Like Beverly was afraid of, I had to drop everything for two months and open to receive the magnitude of this ministry. I suffered the financial consequences and moved on from there. One I announced that enrollment was open, the response was heartwarming and nurturing. I knew I made the best choice. The most amazing women came forward for the first class of 2009.

Are you feeling the call of your soul? What are you being called to? It’s up to you to search through the clues and guidance you are receiving to discover how you are being guided into your soul purpose. Sometimes it doesn’t make any sense. Two people said to me, “I’ve felt called to a ministry for several years and I’m Buddhist! We don’t have ministers. But when I saw this program, I knew it was for me!” Such are the ways of spirit! I encourage you to trust your soul calling and take action.

Resurrection of Spiritual Destiny

April is about soul connection and life purpose. Several months ago, this energy of resurrecting soul purpose started building and gaining intensity. The resurrection energy peaked around Easter and is still a strong force affecting us more deeply than we might realize.

Archangel Gabriel announces the major duties of our spiritual destiny at the calling of our souls. The angel of resurrection, his is the voice of God and the bringer of good news. It was Gabriel who appeared to Mary to awaken the remembrance of her mission as Jesus’ mother. Gabriel who watched over the prophet Mohamed and inspired Joan of Arc. Gabriel influenced Zoroaster.

When you are ready, your soul calls to Gabriel to come and announce the spiritual duties of your destiny. Sometimes this comes in a dramatic experience of blazing glory like I had when I received the calling to co-creation Angel Blessings Cards with the angels. And sometimes it comes in more subtle ways that are difficult to discern.

To resurrect something is to bring it to life. Think of nature. In the fall some trees lose their leaves. By winter, the trees look dead. Then in the spring the leaves bud. New life flows through and they come back to life. So it is in our natural cycle. Parts of our lives wither away and die clearing the way for soul qualities to awaken in our consciousness. Resurrection is the rebirthing of our eternal qualities as the parts of the ego that we no longer need die away. What is it in you that is calling to be brought to life?

Thwarted Purpose

Kathleen asked, “What happens when you have a strong desire as a child to follow a certain path, like being a dancer, and then as an adult, all the doors seem to close? I felt strongly led for the first forty years of my life. Now looking back, it doesn’t seem like there was much of a divine plan at all. I feel so lost. I gave so much of life and now I’m having trouble finding the energy, inspiration and joy to forge a new path, especially without a specific goal or vision.”

Like Kathleen, I grew up feeling a strong calling to music. I became quite an accomplished concert flutist. I gave my whole life to it. Just as I started my professional career, my hand developed pain that was so bad I had to stop playing. I was devastated. It was a huge shock. I was left lost.

I had the thought, “If I can’t do what my soul is calling me to do, I might as well just make money.” So I became a financial planner. After fifteen challenging years, my soul decided that was enough of that. Devastating illness came along to help me make a change I was unwilling to make any other way. And thank God for it. My true spiritual destiny was resurrected from the wreckage.

Signposts for Change

Looking back, my love of music is an important quality of my soul. Once I left the financial arena, music was instrumental in my healing experiences with God. Music is a part of everything I do now helping me to stay connected with my soul and with God. For Kathleen, the gift of dance and movement is probably a quality of her soul that is guiding her to a new form of expression that is way beyond anything she could have imagined.

Circumstances in life are guiding us in the direction we need to go, but that guidance is difficult to recognize. The parts of life that we like the least are actually guiding us to our soul destiny. With endeavor, discernment, and persistence, we can discover where these signposts are leading us.

The angels help us along the way if we ask. The angels fortify us to tolerate the withering death of our most cherished dreams. This is where the miracles and magnificence begin. In the surrender, our souls can lead us to our true spiritual destiny and a more amazing and fulfilling life than we ever could have imagined. How are you being called? Turn Persistent Thoughts into Prayer

Are you suffering from persistent negative thoughts? Turn these thoughts to prayer.

If you keep asking yourself, “Why can’t I let go of this?” each time you catch yourself in that thought, pray, “Spirit, God, help me to let go of this.” Use the name for Spirit that most resonates with your heart.

From “I feel stupid and make bad decisions,” pray, “Guardian Angel, please help me to connect with divine intelligence so I can make accurate choices.”

Instead of “I feel frustrated that nothing changes,” pray, “Lord, give me the courage to make the changes you are showing me.”

You may go through periods where a worried thought returns every two seconds. Negative thoughts will be the most intense right before a breakthrough. Each time you respond to a negative thought with a prayer, that is a success. If another negative thought follows your prayer, call on your guardian angel’s assistance with more desire.

Don’t be discouraged or give up. Your determination to succeed will eventually triumph, and worry will no longer be able to capture you.

Gain Control Over Wory

Worry is persistent negative thoughts that repeat themselves. You can gain control over your thoughts. These thoughts fool you into believing that you are thinking because they are thoughts about problems. But each time you “think” about the problem, the same thoughts recur. These thoughts never solve the problem, nor do they advance your situation in any way. Worry follows a pattern:

• Your thoughts repeat what you already know about the situation by describing what happened or defining the problem.

• You gather evidence to defend your feeling by finding other negative statements from experiences in your life to build a case to support the conclusion you have reached or the emotional position you have taken.

• You feel justified in having feelings such as blame or resentment because of the situation. You might actually be proud of being victimized by this situation and defend it.

Exercise to Break through Worry

The first step is to listen to what your mind tells you. This is called “self-talk”. Carry a notepad and pencil and write it down for a few days. Ask your guardian angel to help you have the courage to see this part of yourself clearly:

Dear Guardian Angel, help me to become aware of the
negative thoughts controlling my mind.
Teach me to gain control of my thoughts and stop worrying
so I can find real solutions.

Following are a few of my actual thoughts that I wrote down when I was trapped in worry:

I’m always thinking, but my position never changes. My situation is impossible. Why do I make such bad choices? There must be something wrong with me. I am such a fool. Why do I listen to people who lie to me? I am dying of loneliness. Why am I so alone? I feel so lost. I hate my life. Everything is a struggle. Why does everything have to be so hard? I keep searching for answers that never come. I’ve made so many mistakes. I don’t have anyone close to talk to. I feel hopeless.

There is hope. It takes determination and persistence to change negative thoughts habits. Worry is seductive because there is always some truth in it. The mind spins that tiny grain of truth into a whole scenario of failure. Look at the sentences you have captured using the following four steps and my example of self-talk:

Step 1: Find the grain of truth. “I’m always thinking, but my position never changes.” Both parts of that are true.
Step 2: What feelings does it trigger? I feel stupid that I make bad decisions. I feel hopeless, lost, and alone. I am frustrated that nothing changes. I am angry with God for not giving me what I want. I blame others for my bad situation. I feel angry that no one is rescuing me.

Step 3: How do you generalize? “I’m always thinking” is a general statement. Once you find the generalization, ask yourself questions like: Am I searching for questions about specific parts of my situation and then seeking answers? Am I trying to find people who are trustworthy and could help with my situation? Or am I repeating negative thoughts about past events and calling that thinking? “My position never changes.” This is another generalization. Search for some truth: There must be some small change that happens. I could look to see specifically what has changed.

Step 4: Think of 5 actions you can take to change.
(1) My emotions are a powder keg. I could ride the exercise bike every morning for 15 minutes and release the feelings in the intensity of pedaling. Then I can start the day in an open and receptive state.
(2) I could reach out to a friend who could support me in making positive change.
(3) I could think about my situation and break it down into pieces.
(4) Then I could focus on the most important piece first.
(5) I could make that list of things that have changed in my life as inspiration and keep adding to it as new changes occur.

Let Go and Move On

After you have examined the content of what you are worrying about and found helpful actions, let it go. Decide to stop worrying. The letting go starts as a desire in your heart and becomes a shift in your attitude.

Close your eyes and imagine how different you would feel inside yourself if your heart were open to feel love. While you may not be able to change your circumstances for some time, how would your life change if you focused on positive, productive thoughts?

Focus on a bigger picture to find lasting change. What does God want for you? He wants you to turn to Him with your pain. God wants you to seek His love to fill your lonely, aching heart. He wants to comfort you and help you to find healing. He wants to guide you through difficult changes to find more truth and freedom. He wants you to seek His ways of love.

Be serious and vigilant about this change. Each time you catch yourself worrying, remember the bigger picture of your desire for love and call to your guardian angel for help. Your endeavor is bringing change. Move forward and don’t look back.

Stop Mental Torment

There are three main types of suffering: body pain, emotional pain, and mental torment. They go together so naturally that it is hard to tell them apart. Let’s use a person who suffers from migraine headaches as an example. As the pain of the migraine become incapacitating, the person must stop all activities and retreat.

This opens up the door of mental torment, as the mind repeats phrases such as, “What if this is another five-day ordeal? I have to finish this project for the deadline! I’ve already missed so much work, what if I’m fired?” Angry feelings at being out of control of your body or life get mixed in. Memories of similar past experiences flood you, adding to the distress.

There is a simple way to gain control over this type of suffering. Briefly talk to yourself about the actual situation by asking the question, “What is true right now?” For example, “My head is in pain, my mind is spinning in negative thoughts, and I’m afraid. The only thing real is the pain in my head. The thoughts and feelings are imagined.” Immediately let go of everything that isn’t true. When you drop out the mental and emotional elements, the physical pain may seem less severe.

The second question is, “What can I do about this right now?” Maybe stopping all activity to lie down with a pillow over your eyes will bring relief. Perhaps you can take a pain reliever. Take some kind of action to help yourself.

Once you have a grasp of the situation, pray. Turn to your guardian angel, or God, or Spirit for help. Very simply, tell your angel what you have discovered. Ask to be held in the comfort and love of your angel’s embrace. Then relax in trust of the desire to feel a response. Each time you catch yourself in mental torment, return to your prayer.

You may feel the sweetest gentleness slip quietly over you, only to be snatched out by anxiety. Again, look for what is true and call to your angel to be held in love. In immediate response, a tender sensation washes through you, bringing relaxation.

You may go back and forth like this for a while before you can surrender to the comfort your guardian angel is offering. While your body may still be in pain, your soul can be embraced by the comfort of your guardian angel’s loving presence.

Receive Sustenance

One of the most difficult things to do when I am challenged is to Receive. I’ve witnessed this in many others as well. We simply aren’t able to receive what is coming to us. We are so fixated on the problem that we can’t see, receive, appreciate, or assimilate what we have and what is coming to us.

Try an experiment. I know there is a lot of talk about gratitude. Experiment with taking it beyond talk and into action. Stop. Take time to fully receive what you have and use.

I’m writing a new book and am focused on The Essenes, a group who lived around the time of Jesus along the banks of the Dead Sea in Palestine and Lake Mareotis in Egypt. The Essenes were healthier and more powerful healers than anyone else because they spent a great deal of their time focused on connecting and receiving. At dawn, noon and in the evening, they communed with the “forces” or “angels” of nature and the cosmos, opening their bodies, minds and spirits to assimilate the energy and essence of everything in life.

Start your experiment with the food you eat. Start with healthful food, the fresher, the better. As you prepare your meal, take a little extra time to make it as delicious, visually appealing, and satisfying as possible.

Enter a state of reverence as you prepare your meal. Eat in a beautiful, peaceful place. I like to eat on my deck with the sun shining on my face, a symphony of birds singing, fresh air and the beauty of my garden. Or eat at your table. Clear everything off and wash the table so it is clean and appealing. Add a candle, flowers or a plant, a rock or crystal or something that helps you to feel at peace, relaxed, and open to receive. Set the table beautifully. Play comforting, relaxing music in the background that helps you to go deeply within.

Don’t multitask! Don’t have a conversation, this is a special exercise. Invite your family or friends to join you in this experiment. Talk before or after. Don’t read, or make notes, or think about y0ur challenges, or make a list of what you are supposed to do and how you will do it, or listen to talk radio, or watch TV, or, you get the point. Consecrate this meal time to receiving sustenance from your food, no matter what it is.

Before you begin, pray. Let your prayer come from the depths of your in gratitude that you have food to eat. Be grateful to the source of the food. From your feelings and your soul, thank the animals and plants that it came from. Thank the hands that harvested, transported, cleaned, cooked, packaged and in any way helped to prepare this food for you to eat.

Give your total focus to eating. As you take each bite, taste it! Chew it. Don’t swallow it down as fast as you can. Enjoy each bite. Put your fork down between bites. Close your eyes. Focus on the pleasure of eating. Imagine your body easily digesting each bite. Send love to your stomach. Vision your body assimilating the nutrients from the food. Feel your body receiving sustenance.

Allow a healthful sense of wellbeing to emerge as you feel yourself being strengthened and sustained by the nourishment. Receive everything you can from this food including the combined strength of the soil of the earth that grew the feed for the animal or the plant itself. Receive sustenance from the water, the rain, the streams. The air. The sunshine. The clouds. The birds. The minerals in the soil. The people. From spirit. From life. From love.

Experience your body, your mind and your spirit absorbing life force in joy and gratitude.

After you have finished your meal, clean up in reverence to complete the experience being grateful for clean water, soap, your dishwasher or dish towel. Electricity, heat, and a home. Be grateful for everything you are wearing, touching, and using in this moment.

Now, transfer this experience of receiving sustenance to the demands of life. Open your mind and being to see new solutions and act upon them. Open your heart to forgive, let go and find resolution. Open your life to leave behind old ways to being stuck and closed and to recognize the opportunities, the people, the energy from spirit, and the help that is coming to you in every form.

Receive sustenance from everything.

TheRay of Light

Walking across the Storton Bridge from Capitola, I was praying. I can feel myself caught in fear. A deep place of fear, and pain of abandonment by God has surfaced. This feeling has kept me spinning for a few weeks now.

From acknowledging this state, a prayer of gratitude emerged. “Thank you God that this deep place of pain has surfaced so I can open it to be healed! This is a huge gift. Thank you God that more love and trust will result from this opening.” I could feel the shift as I prayed. I could feel myself becoming more grounded in trust and gratitude.

Then this image and story came into my mind as I told myself to “Choose Love!”

I am sitting in a recliner chair. The room is dark and dingy. A giant screen TV is on in front of me, playing the scenes of every painful moment and failure from my life along with everything I hate about my body, my shame and anger about my current financial situation, frustration about a house that doesn’t support my business needs while offering so many wonderful features, and my unsatisfied desires. Each scene agitates me more, grinding in the feelings of unworthiness and pain.

There is a drink on a table next to the chair. I am sipping from it. This drink is the poison of self-hatred, anger, resentment, bitterness, sorrow, and unworthiness. I don’t realize that I am slowly killing myself in this environment.

Then one day, a little breeze wafts through the stale, dark room blowing a crack in the curtains. I never even noticed there was a window before as a tiny ray of light shoots through the crack. This ray of light draws my attention away from the screen and the drink. The dust and grim from the air swirls in the ray of light. I am fascinated by it and get out of the chair so see more.

I walk to the window and pull open the curtains. The brilliance of the sun light is blinding at first! After so long in darkness and ignorance, I gasp in surprise and my arm reflexively covers my eyes from the blinding light. Frozen for an instant in the fear of this sudden change, my eyes adjust to the light. My hand comes down and I look out the window.

It’s sunny and green out there! People are walking by laughing. Children are playing. There is life out there! As I’m looking out, my peripheral vision draws my attention to the room. Now that it is lit, I start to see other things I never noticed before. A Door! Slowly and fearfully, I creep toward the door. Standing with my hand on the door handle, I take a deep breath and open it.

I’m in a hallway with other doors.

That is the little world of my pain and fear. Once it captures me, it doesn’t matter how incredible other parts of my life are, this little world is all I know. I completely forget that I have other choices until that little ray of light breaks the spell illuminating the darkness of ignorance.

It’s an old habit going into this room. Something triggers a feeling and before I know it, I’m back in that chair, watching all the scenes of pain, drinking the poison of self-hatred. But now the curtain is cracked open. That little ray of light is always in the room. Once it gets my attention, I can get up out of the chair and make other choices. I can choose to walk out of this room and open the door to love.

“In my Father’s mansion are many rooms. I go to prepare a room for you.” As Jesus said, in the mansion of our being, there are many rooms, many options. We just get into the habit of going into that one room when something triggers the reaction. At some point, the ray of light shines in and we become aware that we can leave this room and make other choices. We can choose love, forgiveness, peace, humility, devotion, grace, truth, blessings, gratitude. Some of these rooms are our issues or illusions. Other rooms are qualities of our souls.

We can change by choosing to go into the rooms with soul qualities rather than get sucked into the rooms of self-torture. We have the choice. It is a powerful addiction that we must face as we make this choice. We do it one step at a time. One incident at a time. Each time we choose a quality of soul over the issue, we strengthen that part of our being and it becomes easier.

Choose love. At every opportunity, gain self-awareness and find a way to choose love. No matter how dire the situation seems, you can always ask for help and choose love. The help will come. When the light is on, you can see that you are surrounded with loving beings just waiting to help. They are waiting for you to reach out your hand. They will take it and lead you from darkness into light. Where do you think the breeze came from that opened the crack in the curtains that let the light in?

The Angel Ministry Class Complete

We just completed our last class of the six-month Angel Ministry Ordination Program. Every day, every class of this six months, the angels have blessed us beyond imagining with love, clarity, healing, truth, compassion, determination, unity, joy, prosperity, generosity, and so many more gifts. I wish I had been able to share more with you along the way. This journey has been such a fruitful one.

The angels have pushed me to a level of productivity that I've been praying for. And sadly, my communion with you got left in the dust as I had to make difficult choices to accomplish this productivity. Soon I will be sharing more about what has been birthed.

Twenty of the most amazing women are emerging from The Angel Ministry. They are now standing in the strength and compassion of their deepest soul calling with God. In just a few weeks, I will be uniting with the Seraphim to Ordain them as Angel Ministers ready to serve God and the angels in their own unique ways.

I wanted to share with you the prayer that closed our last class as we enter this month of preparation to step into the Sacred Presence of the Most high to receive the gifts of service. I invite you to use the sacred energy of this month in your own preparation to unite with Spirit, the angels and God in your own unique way.

If you feel so called, please kneel as you read this prayer. It is for you, too!

Lord, Father, Mother, Angels, bestow upon these your servants your blessing of the Sevenfold Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Imbue us with the power to speak Divine Truth in the service to Thee in the ministry of the divine Word. Grant us the riches of heavenly wisdom, and guidance of divine love, that we may live in your Presence and in fellowship with our human kind. Strengthen our faith. Confirm our courage. Deepen our joy in work for Thee renewing our hearts. On our lips, place the glad tidings of eternal love. In our hearts, guide us ever deeper into the rewards of forgiveness and compassion. May our endeavors bear the fruit of everlasting life and lead us to full assurance that you have guided and blessed us for this Ministry of Light.

May the blessing of God rest upon you and the Holy Spirit fill your heart.

Prayer of Gratitude

I woke up this morning with a deep breath of relief. Literally. For the past two weeks, I've had a nasty respiratory infection. A bad cold. As it moved into my lungs, I knew that deep healing of past grief and sorrow was taking place. With gratitude, I surrendered to the experience, blessing my body in it's healing and renew process.

Following is my prayer of gratitude. I know that I am emerging with more strength and health to serve God.

Thank you Lord, Beloved, Father.
I am in your tender embrace with such gratitude. In loving devotion, I kneel at your feet. You know me better than I know myself. In your infinite wisdom, you carried me through a deep healing. Trusting in you, I have surrendered to this cleansing to emerge purified by your loving compassion.
I am your loving servant, my Lord. Use me as you will. Help me to remain in humility and devotion serving only You all the days of this life that I may dwell in your Home for eternity.

Everything my soul yearns for

Yesterday I finished the rough draft of my part titled, "Deepening your Spiritual Connection." I am blown away by what came through. I just had to share with you my prayer that opened the channel for receiving. So you know my starting point, I've had a nasty cold the last week. Yesterday was the worst:

Please forgive me Body. Hold me Lord.
I allowed illusion to capture me in self-importance.
I believed the lies that "I" had to do it all. That "I" am the doer.
The illusion herded me into the prison of overwhelm and I went!
Thank you body for carrying the burden of these poor choices.
Thank body for forcing me to stop.
I appreciate the illness to get my attention.
Here am I Lord, in your embrace of tenderness.
I am yours. The illusion has no claim on me. I am yours.
Thank you for coming to get me through the symptoms of body.
Thank you for your loving devotion to me even when I have forgotten you.
Here am I Lord. Take me. Use me.
I am your pencil.
I am your voice.
I am your hands of love in the world.
Help me to see with your vision that you may see through my eyes.
Help me to love with your heart that you may love through mine.
Guide my feet that each step be the way you would walk that I may walk in your ways.
Speak through my voice that the people may receive your loving guidance.
Raise my mind into yours that all my thoughts be of your will, of your desires -
of your guidance and wisdom, of your loving care.
I am yours.
Everything my soul yearns for lies with you, Beloved.
Take me over.
Leave no vestage of illusion.
Only pure truth, pure love, pure desire, pure connection, pure union.
Take me Lord, I am yours.

With minutes of making this prayer, I felt much better and the second half for my part to Soul in Your Business poured in effortlessly.

The Angel Ministry Enrollment Open for 2010

I'm so excited! Enrollment is open for The Angel Ministry Ordination Program, Class of 2010.

We are in the middle of the class of 2009 and this program is Celestial! When I first started to receive it, I was amazed. As the energy and presence of the Seraphim and the angels have infused us with each class, I am truly blown away. The Angel Ministry students are remarkable, powerful and unique women for this first class. I feel honored to be their escort on this journey deep into the presence of the Most High.

Over the last few days I got out my ceremonial blanket, gathered around me the calendar, paper and pens, and then stepped into the sacred circle of the Seraphim guiding us to receive the information for the Class of 2010.

The best part of this project is that I get to work with incredible friends including my agent, mastermind partner and friend Ja-lene Clark.

Just this morning, Ja-lene sent me the layout for the introduction and my chapter. I was blown away! Ja-lene make my chapter vibrant with color and beautiful paintings from Melissa Harris, another dear friend. I wrote the chapter several months ago and have long since forgotten and moved on to other projects. As I proof read, taking in the impact of the page designs, I was astonished at what a powerful tidbit this chapter is!

I can't wait to read the other chapters as they are finished. Then we can share this incredible book with you! We are expecting an August release.

Liberation from your Story

Cindy asked the question, “How do I recognize the difference between crying out for help as a survival technique learned from having no mother around with an abusive father versus a mature ‘I am reaching out for some support because I need support here.’”

What a powerful question.

The survival technique would be crying out, “Please help me. I feel abandoned and abused and I’m just trying to survive.” It is a victim statement that repeats the same story we tell ourselves over and over, searching for and finding new reasons to believe it yet again. We’re stuck in an old story from our past. As we tell ourselves the story, we affirm the problem and thus attract more of that problem to us.

Your recurring story represents the issues, beliefs, and concepts that are blocking you. The faster you can identify these issues, beliefs, and concepts, the faster you can gain awareness and come into powerful experiences of love and truth. Becoming aware of what is blocking you is a sign that your soul is ready to clear the underlying causes and is ready for this issue, belief, or concept to be healed.

If you’re stuck spinning around in your story, you’re not aware. To stop the story, take some kind of physical action. Take a deep breath and even take a physical step backward. Taking a deep breath is taking an action. This action can stop the spinning of the story in your mind.

The stories the mind is telling you are not necessarily true. They are a blend of your beliefs and concepts and some experiences you’ve had. Minds naturally make up composite stories and as long as you are captured by these stories, you are not in current reality; you are not here now.

Begin to recognize when your mind is telling you a story and focus instead on what is happening now. Take a deep breath and look at what is true in this moment. What is the deepest yearning of your soul?

You do not have to be a victim to your story. Empower yourself by identifying the recurring story when it comes up and stop it: “Here it is again. I am recognizing that I need help and I have this issue that has captured me before. I am going to take a deep breathe now and open myself to receive some new awareness. I don’t want to be stuck anymore. I am going to do everything I can to gain awareness to stop that behavior.”

Divine Connection

Almost two years ago I went through a period of illness where I was sick for about a year. I was unable to work. I was in dire financial condition. And during that time, the way I usually connect to God and the angels went away and disappeared. Many of you will go through this or are going through this where the way you always experienced God or the angels somehow goes away.

Or perhaps now you’re in a state where you are yearning for a deeper connection to God and to the angels. Whatever it is for you, I encourage you to have patience and let your desire for this connection grow. Let it come forward. Let it even be a little troublesome; in other words, let the intensity of the desire for connection with God and the angels rise to the surface and guide your life.

For some of you it might be a very intense desire. For some of you it might be more of an undercurrent. And for some of you it may be like a nagging mother calling to you.

Notice how your desire is calling to you. Your desire represents an invitation from the angels.

If you feel attracted to angels, if you have a curiosity about them, or if you are already working with angels and you want more, this is a sign from your soul that you are being guided into the embrace of these divine beings. Some of you have said in your questions that you are already feeling guidance; you are already feeling the presence of angels and you are wanting more. One of the greatest benedictions that you can have in this life is this desire for greater connection with spirit.

Some of you ask, “What is the best way for you to connect with angels?” There are some basic ways that we can always use to connect with the angels. The first is through prayer. Prayer is the asking. We go into prayer to talk with God in conversation with God and the angels. Talk to God and the angels as if you are talking with your most trusted friend, your confidant, sharing what’s happening in your life, what’s troubling you. Allow yourself to share with the angels the desires of your soul and ask for the help you need in life. Even in the depths of your darkest moments, you can connect with that sincere desire to know God’s presence and receive help. No matter how dire and difficult your circumstances, you can find that sincere part of your soul that is asking for a connection with something greater than yourself. Your sincere desire will allow the help to come in to fill your heart.

Asking and sharing our hearts creates connection with angels and with God.

There Are No Failures!

Sue: What happens if you make your intention out there for what you desire and you fail. How do you regroup?

Kimberly: There really isn’t any way that you can fail. Failure is an interpretation. What is happening is that the events and your thoughts are showing the next place that you have to work with. It’s important that you not beat yourself up and not view it as a failure. Just say, “Hmmm, well that didn’t work.” And begin searching for what to try next—what will work? Ask for assistance again and go back into meditation. Listen and pay attention to what is happening in your life because it’s an important feedback.

I’m going to give a very personal example to help you. I’ve been going through a lot to accept further responsibility for my mission and opening up so that you can come. And I’m going to expose something here that used to be embarrassing to me. Every time I would post an event on the internet, I had thoughts, “Nobody is going to sign up. Nobody knows who I am. Nobody wants what I have to offer. It’s sort of like the Eeyore voice from Winnie the Pooh saying, “Oh, everything is gloomy. I think I’ll just go die.”

This voice was very persistent and I didn’t want to see it. I was embarrassed to recognize this voice. But when I finally began to see it and finally began to listen to it and paid attention to it, I had to get help. I had tremendous help from my support circle to heal it and help it move on. Then it could leave and then you could come.

You’re all here on this call today because I was able to let that little voice rise to the surface—that voice of doubt and judgment and discouragement and self-hatred. I let it come up to the surface and acknowledged it and did my work to heal it. So I didn’t view those events that had poor attendance as failures. I viewed them with gratitude as helping me to see the next place that I needed to heal.

So you’ll have some version of that in your experience. You’ll find it. Your intention to find it will help it come to the surface so you can discover it.

Listener Alert

I just received some valuable feedback from an Angel Reading client. I wanted to share with you my reflections on the topic of listening.

The client thanked me for listening to her and said she generally didn't feel heard. Does that sound familiar? We recorded the session and she didn't want to listen to it because she didn't like to hear herself talk. But she worked up the courage and listened, receiving quite a lot of awareness. I told her, "I'm glad you listened to yourself. Why would anyone want to listen to you if you don't want to listen to yourself?"

One of the most important spiritual practices I've undertaken is to "Think before you speak." I ask myself, "Why do I want to say this? Is it because my listener wants or needs to hear it? Or because some part of me wants to say it?" Sometimes we need to talk to be heard. We need to get the words out of our mouths to witness ourselves. We gain self awareness as we speak, and can then release as we feel heard. This is an important part of connecting with others as we feel what they've gone through in life and witness their healing.

Other times, I find from experience that when I keep my listener in mind and pay attention to how they are responding, the conversation is much more mutually beneficial. Most people talk on and on without any thought to their listener. They don't notice when the other person has glazed over and is drooling. What a gift when you can combine communicating what is important to you with being perceptive about what your listener wants to hear. That's when the true communication takes place. Otherwise, it's just you talking to yourself with a reluctant witness.

Angel Ministry takes Wing

I've been talking about the Angel Ministry ordination program for months now. Yesterday was a magic day! With the phone off and nothing else to think about, the Angel Ministry curriculum came into focus along with big picture of this incredible program.

The Angel Ministry concept has been teasing me since early last year, just dancing around on the edge of consciousness with peaks and tastes here and there. Last summer, Dr. Judith Larkin Reno, the founder and President of Gateway University and Church, and my long time mentor and friend, offered Gateway as the home for the Angel Ministry. New Life for Angel Blessings Cards

I am bursting with enthusiasm and joy and just have to share some very wonderful news with you. If you are an Angel Blessings Cards devotee, you may have discovered that they are out of print and getting harder to find.

This is great news! Let me tell you why. I now have the opportunity to update Angel Blessings Cards. This is no co-incidence. The angels started on me in February when I first got the news. They have been guiding me, setting up relationships, and filling me with the new energies that they want to have in the new version of Angel Blessings. We are much different now than we were 15 years ago when the first material came through. We have healed, increased our vibrations, gained awareness, opened our hearts to love more, and are ready for the next big infusion of angel blessings energy!

Are you ready for this?

On a Thursday, it occurred to me that it was time to get an agent to represent Angel Blessings and some other really cool stuff I can't wait to do. First on the list of criteria for this agent was that she find me. On Saturday, just 2 days later, I received an email for the perfect agent! We are now creating the book proposal that will bring in the perfect publisher.

The next step was the art. As you know, the art in Angel Blessings is amazing. The paintings come from great masters and museums all around the world. The first publisher, Julie King and Merrill West, made at least 20 different contracts with painters, museums, estates and stock photo services all over the world in several different languages. Quite an awesome feat!

It's time to let go of the old art and embrace a new vibration. As I was praying about who the artist might be, terrified to let go of this rich art history, an artist popped into my mind that I had just met a few months before in a soul based business class we took together. I remembered during one of the early calls I was sharing an experience for the class and I heard this voice interrupting saying, "You're Kimberly Marooney on my Angel Blessings Cards! I've had them for 10 years and use them every day! I love them!"

That artist is Kathy Rotundo. See how the angels are bringing us together? The new artist needed to know these angels and energy intimately and personally to receive the vibration and images that are to take us into the next level. When I reviewed Kathy's resume, I was overwhelmed with how beautifully the angels are bringing us together for this incredible work.

Here's the latest. Just a few days ago I was reflecting on the music recommendations in Angel Blessings Cards. Music is an important bridge to help us connect with the energy of the angels. The music recommendations are now 15 years old. I wondered how I was going to find the new music to include. About an hour later, the phone rang.

Rev. Teri Hawkins introduced herself. Several weeks before, I had agreed to share the love about her new book in what we call a Joint Venture Partnership. I didn't know why I agreed at the time, but I felt compelled to. So here's Teri on the phone saying, "Hey! The promotion just wasn't working so I started over. You are one of the few people who feels really in tune with my book. Are you still on?" Teri went on to tell me that she had radically changed most of the partners to include musicians. I hyperventilated as she mentioned her list of 70 soulful musicians and composers. That very day, I wrote an email introducing myself and inviting contact. Teri forwarded my invitation to her list and within an hour the responsed started to roll in.

What amazing people and music! Over the last few days I've cried, laughed and danced in joy as I listen to the songs that are arriving in my email. Even better, the phone is ringing as the angels bring us together in loving connection and companionship.

This feels epic! The angels are filling my heart and soul with so many ideas that the seams of who I think I am and what I think I can do are bursting wide open! The angels are dancing around with me, rejoicing at the revelation and expansion.

I haven't been blogging very often, and now I feel compelled to share this evolutionary journey with you. Soon, I will set up a special website and newsletter just for the new vision of Angel Blessings. How to Find the “Sweet Spot” in Your Business

Imagine the feeling of having everything in your business flow easily, effortless and abundantly…. where your ideal clients are happy to pay you for your products and services and you are having a blast in your business. You feel the energy and anticipation of everything coming together and your hard work and disciplined mindset are paying off in the results you experience every day. This is when you know you’re in the “sweet spot” of your business.

Being married to a baseball fanatic and Author of Stepping Up to the Plate, this is one of the few times I can actually share a baseball analogy and know what I’m talking about. Ha! If you’ve seen a talented batter hit the ball at the exact right spot, at the exact right time with the exact right speed, you can tell by the cracking sound of the bat that it hit the “sweet spot”. And, the batter KNOWS, without out a doubt, the ball is “gone”… a home run!

Now, a batter practices swinging a gazillion times to learn how to hit the “sweet spot.” But, how can you find this “sweet spot” in your business? What can you (as a conscious entrepreneur) be doing, thinking and intending to find this zone for you and your business? I’ve been hearing this question from clients and colleagues lately as they’ve witnessed my transformation from a challenging, struggling business to a solid, expanding business.

So, let me share my secrets with you. These four components are explored more deeply in my new book, The Freedom Formula: How to Put Soul in Your Business and Money in Your Bank, but I want to share the basics with you here because they are ESSENTIAL for your conscious business success.

1. Make Money

To find the “sweet spot” in your business, you always need to have your bottom-line in mind. Now, for conscious entrepreneurs this can be a challenge (at least, I know it was for me) because your mission is to serve people, to help them and make this world a better place. Am I right? This is good! But, you deserve to be paid well for the products and services you offer. If your business isn’t set up to make money, your “sweet spot” will remain a mystery.

2. Make a Difference
This is probably an easy one for you. Because, as I mentioned in component one, your commitment to making a difference is at the core foundation of your business. Chances are you even started your business because you wanted to have a positive impact on the world. When your business is energetically aligned with improving the lives of others AND you are paid for doing this, you’re a step closer to your “sweet spot.”

3. Be Who You Are

This may be the most important component to finding your “sweet spot”. In today’s ever evolving business climate, with new industries and new models popping up every day, it can be challenging to stay 110% true to who you are. You learn about a new technique, or a new “competitor” has entered your market, and you begin to adjust your direction to align more with what’s happening in the external world. When, the truth is, your “sweet spot” can only be found when you dive deeper and deeper into being authentically who YOU are. And, bring your authentic self out into the market. Remember, nobody can duplicate you… you’re ONE OF A KIND!

4. Trust in Your Divine Plan

Ahhh, this is such a glorious component to keep in mind as you discover the “sweet spot” in your business. Because, at the core, your business is an expression of your soul… and your soul is on a divinely guided journey. So, when the going gets tough, remember to trust in your higher plan and elevate your perspective up out of the minutia of your business. Your “sweet spot” becomes more visible the more you trust in the unfolding of your Divine plan. You are being guided every step of the way.

The “sweet spot” in your business is already there for you to enjoy. Your job now is to embrace these four components and begin living them in your business everyday. And, if one of the components feels like a challenge, then spend some time in meditation or journaling about it and see what answers show up. It’s all there, and it’s all yours for the asking!

I met Christine Kloser last fall at the Evolutionary Women's Retreat in Baltimore Maryland. On the way to lunch, my friend Charlene Proctor said, "You've got to meet Christine Kloser! Poetry As Spiritual Practice

red and pink and blue shoes,
Tell me which would you choose
if you were to buy?

Buckle shoes, bow shoes,
pretty pointy toe shoes,
strappy cappy low shoes,
like some? So would I!

But fat shoes, flat shoes,
stump along like that shoes,
That's the kind they'll buy.

My mother taught me to love poetry at a very early age. The shoe poem has always been one of my favorites. I love the rhythm as I speak it aloud.

As my spiritual path took over more and more of my life until finally it is my soul purpose for living, poetry as been an invaluable tool I've used to work through changes, pain, and love. Poetry has blossomed in my heart with love and graced my soul with truth. Poetry has been an invaluable part of my spiritual path and life. One of my current favorites by Rumi is:

The Power of Hypnotic Manifestation

About a year ago, I got introduced to Anita Pathik Law. That's her on the left. We knew instantly that we were kindred souls. When we got to meet in person after a bazillion emails and phone conversations, Anita gave me a stack of her hypnosis CD's. I stuck them in my bag and went home.

A little while later, I was having a challenge letting go of some old stuff. Anita said, "Well, have you been listening to Release Past Pain?"

No, I hadn't. "Maybe you should listen to it every day for a week" Anita gently suggested. The next week we talked and Anita asked, "So how are you doing with that issue?" What issue? I couldn't remember what she was talking about. "You, know the one you told me about? Did you listen to the Releasing Past Pain CD?" I had. I listened to it several days in a row and then just forgot because the issue wasn't bothering me any more. Hmm, I thought.

A little while later I was having a cash flow challenge. Anita invited me to join a call where she was recording a manifesting money hypnosis meditation. I did! It was quite wonderful. I liked it so I listened to it. A while later Anita asked how I was doing and all was well with money. Hmm, I thought.

At this point, I got a serious interest in Anita's hypnosis meditations, took one of her classes, "Aligning with Destiny" and started listening to her recordings regularly. Several months later now, I can say Wow! Anita has a golden touch.

The Secret of Fearless Living

I love Guy Finley's work. So when I heard he was releasing a new book, I said, "I'm in!" And when I heard it was about conquering fear, I rejoiced! Guy's new book is called, "The Essential Laws of Fearless Living: Find the Power to Never Feel Powerless Again."

Once again, Guy uses the Key Lesson format to introduce an idea, and then explain what it means and how to use it in your life. The first Key Lesson is "The true depth and breadth of the heart is measured not only by what it can hold, but also by how willing it is to let go."

Boy is that true. I have much personal experience with this. Love is seldom the way I think it should be. And my life almost never goes "according to my plan." I've learned that to thrive, I must be willing to let go of how I think love or life should be. That includes letting go of desires, old hurts and wounds, visions, you name it.

When I can let go, that's when the miracles happen. When I can let go of my idea, picture, or wound to see everything as an opportunity for greater love, my heart opens to receive the real gift. Every time, I am astonished and humbled.

Angels of Vision, Rejoicing and Generosity

The May 13th program of Angel Love on Blog Talk Radio was wonderful! Did you know that your deepest pain is a doorway to Divine Love? The angels help us to recognize the door, open it, and go through it so we can experience deeper connections with our souls. To the soul, love is all that matters. Frank called in to ask for help preparing for a court appearance. Paschar, the angel of Vision, came forward to help Frank see his situation from a higher perspective - that of his soul.

In meditation, the angel Paschar guided Frank to unite with his mother and sisters in the embrace of soul love. In that loving embrace was peacefulness and relaxation. The angels of Generosity remind us that we must fill our own well so that we have something to give. It is vital to take the time needed for self-care; resting, getting a massage, meditating, walking in nature - getting what restores you to a loving heart, health, balance and sanity.

I love Donna Henes! Someone suggested her for my Soul Connections Weekly Internet Talk Radio program and I didn't know anything about her. From the moment I saw her picture, I knew that we were soul sisters.

I'm fortunate, my passage into midlife hasn't been too bad. Still, my body and perspective on life has changed dramatically. I hadn't given it much thought beyond trying to keep up with the changes. It's been interesting discovering "Who am I today?" for the last year or so.

For example, learning how to dress this newly shaped body has been quite a task. Not to mention trying to figure out what I'd want to wear. I used to be a real girly-girl. I liked pretty stuff, patterns, ruffly, elegant, lovely! Not any more. As my girl hormones have exited, I find myself liking a more no nonsense, simple and plain approach. Yep, no nonsense, plain, simple pretty much describes my mood, too. I don't feel very colorful or paisly any more. I don't even feel floral.

So when I started to read Donna's new book, "The Queen of My Self: Stepping into Sovereignty at Midlife," I loved it. Donna opens with the progression into midlife. Now I understand why I'm feeling the way I do. Like me, Donna went through period of life where many people she loved died. And we both emerged from that phase into midlife.

The thing I like best about midlife is I'm not so shy. I'm much more willing to reveal to people what I really think and feel. It's much easier for me to ask for and receive what I want and need.

My favorite part of our conversation was about administering Self Blessings! I love this idea. Donna is a celebration specialist. She devises meaningful ceremony and ritual as her job. Here are a few examples from the book on self blessing:

"You can bless your Self every time you apply lipstick.

"You can bless your Self with a scarf or a muffler. 'I bless my Self. I wrap my Self with protection and surround my Self with love.'

"You can bless your Self with a sheet or blanket when you get into bed each night. 'I bless my Self. I cover my Self with confidence, with affection, with appreciation, with support.'

"You can bless your Self with soap in the shower every morning. 'I bless my Self. I cleanse my Self of impurities, insecurities, and all negative thinking.'

"You can bless your Self with unguents and lotions, applying them with loving affection. 'I bless my Self. I soothe and caress and embrace my Self and ease away all my toubles.'

"The more you bless your Self, the more you believe it.
The more you believe it, the more you project it.
The more you project it, the more you attract it."

April 15th Angel Readings

Did you know that I have a new program on BlogTalkRadio.com called Angel-Love? Each week we have a whole hour to do angel readings! We just finished the 3rd program and wow, what a great experience!

The best part was the meditation at the end. It was fabulous! The angels that came forward to help each person flooded us with love, forgiveness and grace so that we can clearly see how to go forward.

Darlene was our first guest needing help to get a job. She was overwhelmed with stress. In just a few breathes, her angels of Grace helped her to imagine a wonderful job where she gets to help people and they are grateful to receive her assistance. The angels of Grace handed Darlene a gift - a gray box. In that box, she perceived a pool of peace and tranquility. Now when she feels stress, she can close her eyes, take a deep breath, and receive the peace and tranquility along with the experience of total confidence. What a gift!

Jen wanted help deciding on a course of study. The angel of transcendence came to help her let go of some old pain so she can heal. And the angel of Devotion brought the gift of loving devotion to show the way. Using devotion as a guide, Jen will be able to navigate the levels of energy or spirit safely, in the embrace of love.

Angela brought us the gift of awareness. She like many people, feels disconnected and odd. This is her soul calling her home to her true being. It is Archangel Michael who protects our soul calling. When we have reached the point in our evolution where we are completing our experience here on earth, our soul calls us. This call is often through loneliness, sadness, despair, feeling disconnected from life, and feeling like you don't belong here. While this feels agonizing, it is a benediction. As you learn to meditate so that you can feel your soul and divine love, you will welcome these feelings - they are invitations calling you to deeper, more profound divine love and eternal peace.

The angel of Appreciation jumped at the opportunity to fill my heart with ecstatic appreciation for all the assistance and energy I am receiving as I create this amazing Circle. She is such a dear friend - the Angel of Appreciation. She reminds me - and You! - to recognize and appreciate the gifts of support, guidance and love that are flowing through us this very minute.

Sandalphon, the angel of Power, popped out to help with registrations to remind us that we are powerful when we come together! Another part of the course materials is a Reference section with key quotes that support the consciousness of manifesting:

Unconditionality and Inspiration

I got a message a week ago from Solazar Kyralani, asking me to be a guest on their Good Vibrations Radio program. The first time was really fun, so I was delighted to be called back. What peaked my interest was the topic - unconditionality and inspiration. These two words struck a chord in me.

At the beginning of the program, Kyralani gave her "Go with the Flow" report on the energies for April. She talked about receiving the flow of unconditional love, trust, faith and hope from our souls and angels. Next Skyye Song gave her "Heart of Healing" perspective, with spinal flexibility being a key to open hearted unconditional love. Well, I was hooked!

Direction, Clarity and Vision

I'm in an incredible Master Mind group with Kathleen Gage. How great is that? Kathleen has been very busy working on a campaign for Joe Capista's new book, "What Can a Dentist Teach You About Business, Life and Success?"

This book couldn't have come at a better time for me. In fact, it is so perfect for my current needs that I feel like I'm receiving an answer to prayer. I'm in the middle of designing a new program and way of doing business. What do you know! Joe's book provides guidance for exactly that! And his guidance is simple, clear, and inviting.

Let me give you an example. Several friends have been trying to get me to do some goal setting and I've been resisting. That's the topic of the first few chapters of the book! Joe tells his story of resisting the goal setting guidance of his mentor.

Joe tells the story so well that just by reading it, I feel myself connecting with how and why goal setting actually works. As I read Joe's story, the way he does it is so similar to how I've done in the past that I am laughing. Joe is reaching into my heart with a timely reminder on what to do and how to do it.

Here is a taste of Joe's writing on goal setting:

Write your goals in the present tense and attach
a feeling to the outcome of the goal.
For example, I used to write, "I will run each week."
Now I write, "I am so excited, happy and grateful
I am running four miles, four days a week.
I feel energized and alive because of this."

Life will give us what we request.
The challenge for most people is that their requests conflict with each other
or what they do ask for is so vague they don't realize when they get it.
You always get what you ask for.
It goes back to one of the most quoted Bible passages,
"Ask and ye shall receive."

This chapter is titled, "Direction, Clarity and Vision." I have been blessed with some new awareness of old beliefs that are causing problems. One is, "I never get what I want." A part of me has been afraid to even imagine what I want, hence the resistence to goal setting.

I've discovered that my soul presents material when the resources are in place to be able to do something about it. By that I mean old beliefs, old pain and fear that keep repeating in my life.

Last week, something triggered old fears and I started down that familiar road. But something really interesting happened. While I was getting captured by fear and the same old thoughts and memories of how it happened before came up, I had the awareness to "look around" and realize that the landscape had completely changed!

I am in a wonderful new place inside myself. A new inner landscape. I have a new group of incredible friends, a new Master Mind group to support my success, health, and clear thinking. Will I Ever Find Love?

So many people ask this question that I wanted to talk about it. Many of my friends and clients have been single for what seems like an eternity.

Let's take Joan as an example. She is a beautiful woman with a daughter. She has patiently waited for her daughter to reach her mid-teen years before pursuing a love relationship for herself. All these years, she has been steadily working on herself to let go of old pain and release old behaviors that attracted more problem relationships. She has a great job and owns a home. She has been cleaning house emotionally, mentally, financially, and spiritually. Now she is is saying, "Hey, what about me? Am I ever going to find love?"

Sound familiar?

The angels of Liberation want to guide you. "Are you feeling liberated? Or are you feeling trapped and seeking liberation? The angels of Liberation carry the qualities of devotion, humility and glory, all of which come with the experience of unconditional love. Love liberates you from limiting beliefs and hardness of heart, allowing your soul to stand triumphant and in glory.

Where do these angels guide you? Is it time in your life to dance in celebration of your freedom from a difficult situation or from an old behavior that no longer captures you? Then let the light pour in, radiating in every part of your soul.

Take time to savor the triumph and to harvest the gifts of wisdom you receive. Search within yourself to find the qualities of soul that have been strengthened through your experience. These qualities may include humility, devotion, determination, or depth. Bask in gratitude and open your heart to let yourself be saturated with liberating love. You may feel as if you are leaving behind deadness and stepping into life. What part of you has come to life?

The angels of Liberation stand beside you every moment, waiting to take your hands and pull you into unconditional love. Take an action that represents reaching out to these angels."

This excerpt from Angel Love Cards of Divine Devotion Faith, and Grace sums it up. When we bask in unconditional love with out heart and hands raised in the glory of accomplishment - ready, willing and able to share this loving celebration - people are attracted. In this state of open hearted celebration, you will draw loving people of similar experience. You will find love! It's inevitable!

The soul and unconditional love are magnets that attract so take heart.

Angel of Companionship helps with Conflict

As Valentine's Day approaches, are you thinking about relationships? Not only love relationships, but ALL of your relationships? I received a question that I wanted to share because I've heard different versions of this story from many people. I'm hoping the answer will help you, too! Here is the question:

I'm experiencing difficulty with a particular person regarding the landscaping of my yard. My anger is building because my yard is on hold and someone else has the control. I've been keeping calm on the surface. I ask for answers myself, but I can't hear any messages because I'm in my own way. I want to know what am I to do to get this resolved quickly.

I like the way Shelley takes self-responsibility. She says, "I'm in my own way." That is huge! She also said she wants to get this resolved quickly. That is vital!

Without taking responsibility and being willing to have a resolution, nothing would change.

The angel Companionship wants to help Shelley and you with conflicts. The angel Companionship brings the gift of loving support.

Whenever we experience conflict, the first place to look is in the mirror. What is your part? This conflict isn't about them, it's about you. You can only change yourself, not the other person.

Talk to the Companionship angel. Explain the problem. She listens without judgment, encouraging you to find the best parts of yourself. Her job is to bring clarity and determinmation to help you let go of what happened so you can find the truer parts of yourself.

Every experience we have in life is an opportunity to heal an old wound. Contemplate these questions:

How is your experience similar to others in the past?
Can you remember the first time something like this happened to you?
What do you tell yourself about this situation?

The only way to deeply heal old pain is through love. The companionship angel "is devoted to helping you experience your eternal companion, the Lord. When God's love touches your heart, you feel his companionship in ways that are profoundly intimate and satisfying. Any circumstance in life is more tolerable when the Lord is with you."

From this embrace of love, it is possible to realistically evaluate your situation to determine what you need.

What stories are you telling yourself that are making the problem worse?
How are you making yourself angry with your story?
What unrealistic expectations can you let go of so you can find real solutions?

Are you angry with God and blame him for your circumstance? While you may feel abandoned because you cannot feel his love, God has never turned away from you and is waiting with open arms to love and comfort you. Pray with great sincerity. Ask the angel Companionship to help you let go of painful circumstances and open your heart to love. It can be done.

Truth and Love Based Relationships

A question came in during a recent tele-seminar that is important for many people so I wanted to discuss it and receive angel guidance. Here is the question:

Will an important relationship to me ever be based on truth and love? -- Karen, Monterey

When I read this question, I could feel the anguish in it. At the same time, I can feel the desire to let go of old ways that create painful relationships. Desire is the key.

Relationships with others are reflections of our relationship with ourselves. Start with your own heart. I love this question because I can hear the soul's voice guiding the way to self-examination. The place to start is with the most obvious questions:

What is happening in your life that you don't like?

This is always a fabulous starting point. What if lack of trust in a relationship is reflecting lack of trust in yourself? What if resentment and hatred against someone else is trying to point out a lack of self love? When we can view everything in life as a reflection and take self responsibility, we are no longer the victim. We are empowered to change. So how do we change? Let's ask the angels for some help for a question that applies to so many!

The Angel of Sexuality wants to help.

"Sexuality is a potent aspect of being human. Sexual urges are as primal as hunger.
Do unfulfilled desires and the residue of traumatic experiences prevent you
from being able to function and feel pleasure?"

Many of us have had tramatic experiences around sex. Not only does this residue from traumatic experience shut you down sexually, it attracts more abusive experiences and relationships until you are ready to face the pain and heal. As long as you perceive yourself to be a victim, you will attract perpetrators.

I know this territory from personal experience. As a child, I had an experience of being molested. This was buried deep and completely forgotten. It set up a chain of events with experiences of date rape, a violent rape as a young adult, and a series of abusive relationships. It took quite a lot of therapy and several regressions to find a memory of the early trauma. While I was angry at the perpetrators, I felt guilty and responsible. Another 10 years of therapy was needed to face the deep pain, let go and truly forgive myself. Then the process of healing and self love could unfold.

When we are truthful with ourselves and experience genuine self love, we naturally attract relationships that reflect this. We come alive and blossom in the ecstasy of love.

Before we can have relationships with others based on truth and love, we must have a relationship with ourselves of truth and love.

I am NOT my circumstance!

It's really easy to confuse life circumstances with who we are. The events of my life have little to do with who I am, and yet, I allow events to control how I feel about myself and about life. That sucks! Thank God I can see this distinction.

A little story about my day today might illustrate this point. I'm having challenges with my computer. I've been unable to send emails for about 2 weeks. This is inconvenient and a pain in the ass. After hours and hours of tech support not resolving the problem, I hired a professional. Kevin. It seems that someone infested my computer with a program that was spamming from my address! I find myself taking it personally and saying, "I've been invaded!" I'm in a bad mood. This incident has affected how I feel and my thoughts. In this compromised place, I feel worthless and my thoughts tell me endless stories about it.

Here's the good news. I"m not totally buying it. This is a part of me that sees through the moodiness saying, "Whoa! There is nothing wrong with me. This has nothing to do with who I am or the quality of my life. Let Go!"

Now for the tug'o'war. The truth is trying to pry me free while the illusion is attempting to yank me under into despair. I have a choice here! I can choose the love that is present in my heart and body.

It's almost like picking a channel on the TV. Do I want to be entertained by the drama of the negativity? Or do I want to change the channel and hang out in peace, love and satisfaction?

It's an easy switch to make. Old habits turn the channel back to suffering when I'm not paying attention. It's like a screen saver. In this instance, "you snooze, you loose" says it. When I'm not paying attention - when I'm snoozing, my screen saver or auto pilot goes to suffering and I loose.

By noticing this state, I can change the channel to something else - love, truth, joy, satisfaction, these states are here, too!

Not much of a choice really.

Our earth and our people are in desparate need of prayer.

Pray for love, healing, peace, courage, strength, wisdom, clarity.
Pray for all leaders, and all soldiers.
Pray for all voters.
Pray for the 2 1/2 million Iraqi people who have feld their homes.
Pray for the countries and the people who have received them.
Pray for The Taliban, Al Qaeda, suicide bombers and all of the people who feel such pain and hatred in their hearts that they can do what they are doing.

International Angel Day

September 8 was International Angel Day. This has long been one of my favorite days of the year. Several years ago, I did a fabulous event in Colorado on Angel Day in a beautiful church with the most sincere hearted and loving people. I treasure it's memory.

Then Doreen Virtue received guidance from her angels to invite her students all around the world to meet together to share a loving connection all at the same time, harvesting the power of unity on Angel Day.

This year, I was happy to be a part of this important day through an international tele webinar. As I was preparing for the event, I tuned in to the Angels who were "sponsoring" the energies. The Angel of Vulnerability emerged.

I must admit I wanted to think it was a mistake and find another angel. "It will scar people away!" I thought. Then I looked closer and I could understand why this angel wanted to guide us into Angel Day.

"The angel Vulnerability answers when your soul calls for help opening your heart to unconditional Love."

Isn't that what we all want? I do. I believe that you do, too! Otherwise this angel would not have come forward!

"The greatest gift of the angel Vulnerability is to guide you to a depth of openness where you can feel the longing of your soul. In a vulnerable state, this longing can seem devastating. But the feeling of longing and the vulnerability that comes with it opens the door for you to connect with the source of unconditional love, nurturing and satisfying your soul."

I have talked to hundreds of people in the UK, Europe, Slovenia, Japan and the US who are feeling this pain. For some, it seems like depression. For others, loneliness or sadness. Is that you?

The more I tuned in to the Angel Vulnerability the more ecstasy I felt. I danced and twirled around in ecstatic love as I prepared for this event, feeling the human and angelic desire for love unite.

Thousands of people all over the world came together to call in the angel's special assistance. The love that poured in to answer this call was astonishing. Did you feel it? This love feeds our souls like nothing else can, resulting in experiences of profound healing and fulfillment.

4 Steps to the Passion of Your Soul

I have a secret, too. In all of the excitement about attracting your desires, this secret has been sadly overlooked. And it is the foundation for true fulfillment.

The Ultimate Secret

Here is the ultimate secret: Works that come out of the passion of our souls make a huge difference in the world. When we read a book, experience artistic expression like music or art, or attend an event that is the result of soul infused passion, we are deeply affected. We have found a precious gem and feel honored to share the moment with others.

As I work with people in conscious business and even spiritual endeavors, the connection with the deepest part of our selves is often missing. We don’t allow time for it. Yet, when we take time to connect with our souls, and then connect from one soul to another soul, something extraordinary happens. We create an opening for inspired, impassioned creativity to occur. In this moment, we experience love and fulfillment of the soul that is way beyond any achievement or possession.

What is worthy of your time and attention? Life presents a confusing array of feelings and desires. What are you deeply passionate about? How do you know which desires to go after? How can you solve problems? How do you let go of painful experiences from the past that are affecting current relationships and choices? How do you have more loving connections with people?

The Solution

The angels of love are here to help you discover the truer part of yourself that knows. The purpose of the love angels is to guide you into a profound personal relationship with God. Steps to Connecting with the Passion of Your Soul

Find a balance of doing your part and opening to receive help. Your part begins by identifying where you need help, or what you want to attract. Once you have identified the area, think of specific questions about this topic.

Step 1: Gain Self-Awareness

Thinking about specific questions in contemplation takes you to thoughtful observation or deep reflection. Use contemplation to find greater self-awareness. The angel Awareness helps you recognize the most important topic, how you feel about it, how it affects you and your loved ones, and find your greatest desire or the bigger picture for the situation.

Step 2: Cherish Change

The next step is to find the part of you that wants to change and is open to ask for and receive help. Ask for help through prayer. Prayer is a powerful method of connecting directly with God and your angels. Ask the angel Change to help you find the truer part of yourself that is open and wants to change so you can experience more love.

Step 3: Be Receptive

Listen and be receptive to responses. Notice how your prayers are being answered. Be alert for evidence that God and the angels are assisting you. Ask the angel Desire to help you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings and desires - they are attracting the circumstances of your life.

Meditation is a form of inner listening and receptivity. In deep meditation, you experience a connection with God, your angels, and your soul. From a receptive state, the angel Realization guides you into personal experiences of love, forgiveness, illumination, joy, faith, liberation, peace – the quality of love that you need most.

Step 4: Take Action

As answers come, take action. The angel Action shows you the steps that move you toward your desire. Actions get you unstuck.

You may receive one little step at a time. Take that step, and then look for the next. It is easy to overlook the small help that comes to you as having no value. How often do you walk by a penny on the sidewalk? Sometimes the smallest things are a vital link to the next step.

Be eager to recognize and receive all the help that is coming to you and see what happens!

The Ray of Light

From acknowledging this state, a prayer of gratitude emerged. “Thank you God that this deep place of pain has surfaced so I can open it to be healed! This is a huge gift. Thank you God that more love and trust will result from this opening.” I could feel the shift as I prayed. I could feel myself becoming more grounded in trust and gratitude.

Then this image and story came into my mind as I told myself to “Choose Love!”

I am sitting in a recliner chair. The room is dark and dingy. A giant screen TV is on in front of me, playing the scenes of every painful moment and failure from my life along with everything I hate about my body, my shame and anger about my current financial situation, frustration about a house that doesn’t support my business needs while offering so many wonderful features, and my unsatisfied desires. Each scene agitates me more, grinding in the feelings of unworthiness and pain.

There is a drink on a table next to the chair. I am sipping from it. This drink is the poison of self-hatred, anger, resentment, bitterness, sorrow, and unworthiness. I don’t realize that I am slowly killing myself in this environment.

Then one day, a little breeze wafts through the stale, dark room blowing a crack in the curtains. I never even noticed there was a window before as a tiny ray of light shoots through the crack. This ray of light draws my attention away from the screen and the drink. The dust and grim from the air swirls in the ray of light. I am fascinated by it and get out of the chair so see more.

I walk to the window and pull open the curtains. The brilliance of the sun light is blinding at first! After so long in darkness and ignorance, I gasp in surprise and my arm reflexively covers my eyes from the blinding light. Frozen for an instant in the fear of this sudden change, my eyes adjust to the light. My hand comes down and I look out the window.

It’s sunny and green out there! People are walking by laughing. Children are playing. There is life out there! As I’m looking out, my peripheral vision draws my attention to the room. Now that it is lit, I start to see other things I never noticed before. A Door! Slowly and fearfully, I creep toward the door. Standing with my hand on the door handle, I take a deep breath and open it.

I’m in a hallway with other doors.

That is the little world of my pain and fear. Once it captures me, it doesn’t matter how incredible other parts of my life are, this little world is all I know. I completely forget that I have other choices until that little ray of light breaks the spell illuminating the darkness of ignorance.

It’s an old habit going into this room. Something triggers a feeling and before I know it, I’m back in that chair, watching all the scenes of pain, drinking the poison of self-hatred. But now the curtain is cracked open. That little ray of light is always in the room. Once it gets my attention, I can get up out of the chair and make other choices. I can choose to walk out of this room and open the door to love.

“In my Father’s mansion are many rooms. I go to prepare a room for you.” As Jesus said, in the mansion of our being, there are many rooms, many options. We just get into the habit of going into that one room when something triggers the reaction. At some point, the ray of light shines in and we become aware that we can leave this room and make other choices. We can choose love, forgiveness, peace, humility, devotion, grace, truth, blessings, gratitude. Some of these rooms are our issues or illusions. Other rooms are qualities of our souls.

We can change by choosing to go into the rooms with soul qualities rather than get sucked into the rooms of self-torture. We have the choice. It is a powerful addiction that we must face as we make this choice. We do it one step at a time. One incident at a time. Each time we choose a quality of soul over the issue, we strengthen that part of our being and it becomes easier.

Choose love. At every opportunity, gain self-awareness and find a way to choose love. No matter how dire the situation seems, you can always ask for help and choose love. The help will come. When the light is on, you can see that you are surrounded with loving beings just waiting to help. They are waiting for you to reach out your hand. They will take it and lead you from darkness into light. Where do you think the breeze came from that opened the crack in the curtains that let the light in?

Breath deeply! - wisdom from Osho

I've been traveling for a month now in Europe which may sound exciting, but it is a work trip and many moments have been quite challenging. I am alone and things don't always go as I would like. Thankfully, the challenges are minuscule but seem enormous in the moment.

As an example, the internet is my lifeline to connecting with those I love. Last night, after a long day of travel from Slovenia to Stuttgart, I was very tired and hungry. I just wanted to get online so we could talk with my beloved. The internet access in the hotel wasn't working. After 2 hours of trying, I felt utter desperation.

The only choice I had was to completely let go and surrender to God. While in Slovenia, I had a few minutes in the bookstore, I just grabbed the first thing that I felt attracted to. It turned out to be the transcript of a 7-day retreat in India with Osho including his discourses and meditation instructions. What a God-send!

The first meditation instruction was to breathe deeply and get hyper-oxygenated. I had forgotten this! So last night, in my state of despair, I followed the instruction below and breathed. This alone calmed my body and mind! Then my heart opened to let go and receive love. What a gift.

I am so deeply grateful to have this option of going into God's loving embrace. It is the only love that truly satisfies my soul.

Here is a taste of the instruction:

The first thing to keep in mind is throughout the day to breathe as totally as possible and, whenever you remember, to inhale as deeply as you can. Hyperoxygenate! The energy you liberate for your work will be in direct proportion to your intake of breath. A great deal of energy lies hidden in your body. It must be aroused and activated towards meditation; it must be channelled into meditation. So The first meditation sutra I give you is to activate that energy. The nearest and the easiest means available to you is your breathing activity.

As soon as you wake up in the morning and come to your senses, begin to breathe deeply, sitting on your bed. When you are walking along the road, breathe as deeply as you can. Do it slowly, don't overexert yourself, be comfortable and joyful - but remember, your breathing should be deep. Bear in mind all the time that it will be easier for you to go into meditation if you take in as much oxygen as possible. The more oxygen you have in your blood, in your heart, the easier you will find your meditation. The more you expel carbon dioxide, the easier it will be for you. The impurities decrease as you increase the amount of oxygen in your body. It is interesting to know that the mind finds it difficult to function if the basis of bodily impurity is removed. The opportunity for thoughts to flourish in your mind will lessen as you absorb more fresh air; and as I told you, this will enhance the potential for sutras like this to blossom and flower within you.

This excerpt is from "Heartbeat of the Absolute" by Osho. There are a few used copies available on Amazon. I highly recommend this book! I find myself wishing that I had 7 days to go into seclusion and practice these meditations without interruption!

Jewels in Harlow - UK

Let's take a step back to the events in Harlow, in the UK. This was such a sacred experience that I waited until I felt prepared to share the jewels that we experienced.

The first jewel was Karen Leys. She helped to organize the events and hosted me in her home. It was a treat to be with Karen and her family. When I arrived, I was still struggling with jet lag. I felt exhausted during the day and couldn't sleep at night. Karen is a healing practioner of extraordinary abilities. Her business is Beyond the Body at the Peace Cottage Healing Lodge in Harlow. Karen took me into Peace Cottage, sat me in a chair and went to work on my head, neck and shoulders. I have had body work from world class healers and Karen's intuitive and healing touch exceeded the best!

Karen's touch combined with the music she played sent me into nirvana. Literally. By the end of the brief session, my spine had gently aligned itself and my body was deeply relaxed. I wished we had more time so I could have a full session, but it was not to be. By the way, the music was The Divine Name - sounds of the God code by Gregg Bradden and Jonathan Goldman.

The wonderful staff at Waterstone's in Bishop Stortford were setting up for an event. Off we went, zooming through the picturesque little streets of the Harlow area on the way to the store. Here I am, telling about one of the angels in Angel Blessings Cards of Sacred Guidance and Inspiration.

The people who came were the next jewels. It was a pleasure to feel the connection of love and share from our souls. After the event, I signed books and we got to know each other a little better.

The crown jewel was the "Jewels of the Soul" workshop on Saturday at the Peace Cottage Healing Lodge. To start with, Karen's cottage is filled with her gentle, loving energy and beauty. The beautiful women who came all had a strong desire to find a deep connection of love with God. Their words say it best:

Akushi said, Thank you for your love and sharing. I feel softer and vulnerable today. I choose to be in the presence of God and I choose to allow myself to be grateful and humble that I am make in the image of God. I choose to gently look at myself in the light of God and let go. I can change and it doesn't have to be a battle.

The point of this workshop is to learn to go deeply enough within yourself where you can hear the wisdom and guidance of your soul and God. The angels guide us to this place within. Once there, we have amazing realizations and profound experiences of love. Each time we enter this place, it is life changing. From the realizations and experiences, we extract the "jewels".

At the end of the workshop, I ask everyone to write to me in a few days telling me about the jewels they received. Ranjini shared:

WOW!! Realising I was afraid of God was a biggie for me. Surrendering this fear to God, at the beginning was terrifying more like paralysing fear! How can I surrender my fear to someone I was fearful of? I made this my focus, journalled and prayed. I have now walked through that door of fear - and I am able to spend more and more time in the place where God's love resides within me. As I focus on my unity with God I am at peace in the love of God.

Thank you for coming into my life and sharing your love and support to face the biggest fear in my life.

A few days later, Akushi said this:

I can see how I am giving my self the opportunity to heal a deep hurt and I know that it so deep that I do not know what to do so I am giving it up to God.Into his presence I shall enter now.

I have discovered that there are layers upon layers of fear and so I ask only to feel the love of God, and with this I feel peace and from there I feel safe and from there I feel protected and from there I feel connected and from there I am soft and open to gentle guidance and I feel my heart and then I truly care and everything else fall into place.

Thank you for reminding me of this. I am so grateful it takes the panic away.

What powerful realizations! Karen shared this from a meditation she had after the workshop:

I was aware of being washed over by wave after wave of energy. The image on the card is of Christ laying in the presence of the heavenly host of angels, hands offeringto carrying him, my quote was of "multitudes of angels await to carry......... " and I could feel I was being carried. I was praying to be taken as close to the divine as I could go, and the rush through my solar plexus throughout my body, was like butterflies but amplified hugely.

My greatest joy comes from showing others the way into God's heart.

I love the Dutch people!

Chantie Goelela met me at the airport and created the most loving adventure for me. Just after I arrived, we had an "Angel Blessings Healing Circle" in Chantie's home. The people who came were so open hearted that I fell in love with them.

When I do events, I ask a lot from the people who come. I ask them to share their deeper feelings and pain. In the beginning it's a little hard because they are afraid. But as we get going, and they begin to see the benefit of opening their hearts to healing and love, they jump right in. Then together, we experience the healing love of God. By the end, everyone's hearts are open, their eyes are shining brightly, and we are all deeply connected in love. It is a rare and sacred experience.

On Whit Monday, we went to the Selexyz Scheltema bookstore in Amsterdam for a lecture and demonstration. It was pouring rain and Chantie and I were a little wet and bedraggled when we arrived, but Jac. Peeters from my Dutch publisher Librero was at the door to welcome us. Jan Hilkemeijer and Roselein prepared an incredible space.

The store was crowded for me. The chairs filled up and they brought out more and still people were standing all over the place trying to hear and be part of this extraordinary event.

I asked people to close their eyes and feel vulnerable in a busy, noisy, crowded room and they did! After a meditation and the sharing, their eyes were on fire and their hearts were dancing! The joy and love of the moment was awesome. By the time I finished speaking, we were all so connected in love that the people rushed forward to be with me personally and share their experience. I signed books and had soul connections with people for over an hour afterward.

More wonderful adventures in Cappel a/d Ijessel at the Anay New Age Bookstore. Martin and Diana Doornbos were incredible hosts. We had potent private healing sessions during the day and yet another profound Angel Blessings Healing Circle.

Milton Keynes - UK

The "Angel Blessings Healing Circle" at The Well at Willen was wonderful. A delightful group women came to experience the healing presence of love. Susan said she felt "loving warmth." Helen called it a "very supportive, lovely group of people." I agree.

Ranjini Woodhouse did a fabulous job of organizing the events here in Milton Keynes. Thank you Ranjini for all of the loving effort you put into hosting such a fabulous weekend. Ranjini is in blue on the right. I'm in blue on the left.

Andrea, who prepared the "Bridge to Spirit" lecture at Waterstone's Midsummer Place, also did a fabulous job. It was a wonderful experience to go there and meet the people who came. Thank you Andrea.

I've had a few days to rest up and get around a bit. I went into London to the De Morgan Center to view Evelyn De Morgan's painting, "The Kingdom of Heaven Suffers Violence." I chose this one for the Awakening - Remliel card in Angel Blessings. The color in the card is very close to the painting. It was quite an experience to see the real thing. It was up high on the wall so I couldn't see it as well as I would have liked, but it was stunning. So were the other paintings on exhibit.

The Tate Britain was also a fabulous experience. Dante Gabriel Rossetti's "Ecce Ancilla Domini!" was on display. This is the painting I chose to represent the Angel of Peace, Kaeylarae. When I selected the images many years ago, it was before the electronic age. I received hundreds of pieces of film taken of the paintings and had to use my imagination. Once I had selected the images, we had to crop them to fit onto the cards - a painful process. It has been many years now since I viewed that film and have forgotten what many of the paintings looked like in full. The angel is this painting was floating above the ground with his feet on fire! Mary had shockingly red hair. That was fun. The Tate had a second painting by Rossetti of Mary embroidering with her mom St. Anne before the annunciation. Mary and Anne were embroidering lilies on a shawl that hung in front of the bed in "Ecce Ancilla Domini!" I was looking at this painting a few months ago and couldn't remember what that red thing was in the front of the picture as we had to crop most of it out - it was the shawl! It was a treat to see these two paintings side by side.

Just down the wall was another painting of Jesus washing Peter's feet that was fabulous. The disciples were seated around a table watching and waiting their turns. The expressions on their faces put me there in the scene. It was obvious that the painter had spent much time imaging how it must have felt to be there in that moment and the faces told the story. I cried.

Returning from the adventure at the Tate, I brought back some dinner. The Millhouse hotel I'm staying at has a nice patio over the canal which ran through the original mill house to grind flour. As I sat down, a power bush trimmer roared into action disturbing the peace of the afternoon so I crossed the bridge over the canal to a field next door with lawn chairs, but the trimmer was still very loud, so I kept going to a gate at the end of the field.

This must have been divinely guided because on the other side of the gate was the most wonderful little world! A beautiful canal with long, narrow house boats all along the side. I walked down the path looking for a place to sit. When I finally found a bench, the canal in front narrowed into some funny looking gates. The water level was lower on the far side. They were locks! Just as I had this revelation, a man walked up and demonstrated the locks for me as he moved his boat up to the higher level of water. He explained that he had left at 6:30 this morning traveling along the canal and had 6 more locks to get through that evening to reach his destination. It's a very peaceful and slow process moving through the canals and the locks.

Next I go to Harlow for an event at the Waterstone's Bishop Stortford store on Friday May 25 and an event on Saturday, May 26.

From here I go to The Hague in the Netherlands, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and then the Engel Kongress in Hamburg, Germany on June 1st.

Grim's Dyke - near London

I spent my first night in the UK at Grim's Dyke hotel near London. Take a look! As you can see, it is a beautiful place. One of the former owners was Sir Gilbert of Gilbert and Sullivan fame - you know, "Pirates of Penzantes" and "The Mikado"? I had a wonderful little room overlooking the vegetable garden. Bunnies hopped across the lawn and the bird song was wonderful. I tried to record a little of the symphony for you, but haven't mastered what to do next.

So here I am sitting in one of the huge gardens, near a very fragrant bush with Dogwood-ish flowers.

It was a very long trip. When I arrived, I was quite tired. A $200+ taxi ride freaked me out a bit and I was wondering, "What am I doing here?"

But then I did what I tell others to do. I sat quietly in the this garden, listened to the birds and breathed. As I relaxed, I started to remember all of the loving support that went into this adventure. I remembered that while sitting in the plane, waiting to take off, Judith Larkin, my beloved friend and mentor called, telling me she was sending some money to help with the trip. Tears of gratitude trickled down my cheeks.

Then I walked on this beautiful trail around the Grim's Dyke estate. Stately giant trees that look kind of like our California redwoods stood as gatekeepers to the property. Giant rhododendrons of lilac, fuchsia and gold touched my heart with tenderness.

Maggie Smith's "Flower Essence Energy" sprays and my personal tincture have been my companions every step of the way. I started using the "Release" spray to release my anxiety and by gosh, it really works!

Dana, by beloved, is my constant loving companion reminding me that no matter what happens, it's all good. I can't possibly do anything wrong, and I will have a wonderful adventure.

The love of so many friends is with me in my heart! I thank you all.

My first event was tonight at Waterstone's at Midsummer Place in Milton Keynes. I wore the beautiful belly chain that Sally Aderton made for me to feel her loving support. And I wore the jeweled braclet that Candy Brae gave me for my birthday to feel her strength and connection with God. The event was fabulous! We had a room full of wonderful people. Even the event manager bought a book, that's a first! She said the energy I created during the talk was irresistible, neither she nor the other employee who helped to set up could leave! Many of the people who came will also attend the other events this weekend.

Ranjini and her family, my sponsor here in Milton Keynes have embraced me with such loving support!

Tomorrow, June 19 we have an Angel Blessings Healing Circle from 7 - 10 pm. Then Sunday June 20, we have Private Healing Sessions all day. Now that I've gotten started, I can't wait!

Compassionate Reconciliation

As I watched the Virginia Tech facilty, students and families morn their loss, a thought popped into my mind:

What if the Virginia Tech family could embrace Seung-Hui Cho's family in forgiveness? What if they could morn their loss together?

All families involved have suffered horrendous loss. True healing comes through deep forgiveness. What if that healing could start with compassionate reconciliation?

The Ultimate Secret

Over the last few weeks, I have been wanting to do a movie for my book Angel Love. I couldn't add another thing to the list right now, so this desire has been slowly percolating in the background. I even talked to Robin Rice about it a few days ago, and then decided a movie would have to wait.

Yesterday, I received an email from my friend Shannon Baldwin. Shannon and I did two workshops together in January with Sue Myers, Pathway to Discovery and Pathway to Freedom. By the end of the workshops, Shannon and I knew we needed to work together and talked about making a movie. Here is Shannon's email:

Sue said that we all have a guardian angel and I wanted to know who mine was. So about 3 or 4 weeks back I went to bed and asked for my guardian angel to reveal itself.

During the night I "woke up" (it was more like a place in between awake and asleep) and as I lay in bed with my eyes still closed I received a feeling that I didn't have just 1 angel with me. In fact, it seemed as though there were hundreds of them.

When I woke up I decided to muscle test myself and see how many were with me. I did my best to replicate Sue's process of starting at 100...200...300...400...500...and so on. I made it to 1,000 and I was amazed to say the least.

I continued on from there...2,000...3,000...4,000...5,000...6,000. My arm went weak. I backed up and start at 5,000 again and finally stopped at exactly 5,639.

I have 5,639 Angels with me and I have been "in touch" with them ever since that day. They let me know things by a ringing in my right ear.

They "told" me that I would be doing a video for you the night I first sent you an email about my own results. The next day I woke up and I tried to start on another project of my own and I couldn't get an Internet connection. The previous days this wasn't a problem.

As I gave up trying to connect my laptop to the world wide web I suddenly got a clear signal. I finally signed on to check my email and I saw a message from you stating that you would love for me to do a video for you.

I replied to your message and immediately began working on your video. The one my last email to you is about. I've had it done since that day and was waiting for you to reply and give me a direction to go in.

It was funny how the Angels wouldn't let me do anything else until I completed your project...I love this stuff!

I Have a Radio Show!

Lillian Cauldwell of Internet Voices Radio and I came to an agreement and now I have a radio show! I am totally thrilled. I have thought about doing a radio program for several years, but was a little overwhelmed by the thought of finding sponsors and guests.

My new program with Lillian bypassed all my concerns. She made it so easy for me that YES was the only possible answer!

"Soul Connections" will debut on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:00 pm Pacific Time, this show only. After this, it will be at 5:30 pm.

There are two parts to each of us, our soul which is our connection to the eternal part of us that is always with God, and our personality - who we think we are.

Our souls contain the love, guidance, and empowerment we must have for a satisfying life of purpose. Life transforms when our thoughts, feelings, and actions are aligned with our soul's purpose.

The purpose of this radio program is to spend time with the soul. Brother Lawrence, a 17th century monk said, "The soul learns which activities bring God's presence nearer." My life is devoted to living in the presence of God and in my soul.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to chat with friends and others who have a unique perspective of the soul and answer questions from listeners.

Love is all that matters

A friend of mine, Kathy Chaffin, is undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

We talked late last week. Kathy told me that receiving emails and love were vital to her healing process right now and asked me to reach out often. Kathy is a writer for the Salisbury Post in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and has managed to write a series of articles during her treatment. She sent them to me.

The articles arrived in my email, but I didn't have time to read them. I went away for the weekend to give a Healing Circle and have been busy since I got back thinking, I should read those articles and send a note to Kathy. This didn't seem like the most important thing, so I kept putting it off.

Finally this evening, I read the articles and was deeply touched. I've experienced a life time a severe illness myself and my husband died of cancer. I want to forget all that and be normal. I get busy with the business of life and sometimes forget that love is all that matters. Reading Kathy's articles reminded me of this.

Here is an excerpt from Kathy's second article:

I have always been aware of the power of prayer, but never have I felt its effect as much as I have during this journey. So many people have prayed for me this past month and a half.

At times, when I have been scared, I've felt those prayers like a protective barrier of light around me, bringing comfort and reassurance.

Most of the time, it feels like a radiant warmth in my heart, the kind that makes me very grateful and aware of everyone and everything around me.

More than ever, I realize that I am truly blessed.

Thank you Kathy for reminding me that love is all that matters.
